There is so much fear prevalent in the media today about natural disasters and other big changes that are occurring on the Earth plane. First off, it important to remember that there are no accidents, meaning that the souls involved in these changes decided on a spiritual level to be a part of them. Many natural disasters occur because an area of the globe needs help in transforming its energy in some way. It may be that those particular areas are still caught up in old patterns or it could be that those areas are going to be the new spiritual centers of the globe, but in order to make the necessary changes, the old energy must be released. Lately, there has been volcanic eruptions in Iceland, flooding in the American South and several earthquakes that have hit many areas around the globe. These have all happened as a result of the transformation that Earth and humanity are undergoing, and they will continue to happen to bring these changes about. Now that does not mean that everyone needs to protect themselves for what may happen. Quite the opposite really. If you always allow yourself to follow your intuition, you will
The Ego is the most questioned and misunderstood part of the metaphysical journey. Defining what the Ego is can be far easier than conquering it. The Ego is your proverbial blessing and curse. It is your identity as an individual and must be developed in order to advance your consciousness. This identity is what separates you from the masses and allows you to stand unique. While the separation or uniqueness is ultimately an illusion, it is a necessary part of your development in order to recognize the internal spiritual being used to develop your higher consciousness. The ego is an insecure and unpredictable character with an insatiable appetite. Its primary motivation is self-importance. It is also the primary drain on your energy and the power you possess. The ego is imagination and memory rolled into one and is protected and driven by the self. This is not you, but an extension of the illusion of you. The ego hates change and unpredictability, wanting to be comfortable and follow a routine at all cost. That is how it maintains the illusion and control. While developing this uniqueness is a necessary part in the evolution of your consciousness, it must not be
So many times we see souls get frustrated because they do not fit into a box of what they think others expect them to be. These type of opinions and expectations can create much inner turmoil within an individual. Each soul came for a unique experience, to be the individual they choose to be, not to be a cookie-cutter version of someone else. What a boring world that would be! Often times souls feel frustration and struggle because they feel that the world does not understand them. Yet they are also so fearful of expressing themselves, that they don’t allow others to get to know them. What a paradox this creates. Learn to understand yourself completely, so that you can freely express yourself appropriately and allow for others to understand you. If someone else tells you to change your views because they don’t like it, that is their problem, not yours. When you express yourself from a place of Love and in accordance with your inner Truth, you are giving the highest honor to yourself and therefore to God. There is no need for judgment of the actions of another; because from a singular perspective, you won’t always understand the
When we first began to evolve consciously, we automatically begin to receive opposite-sex energy. It comes in naturally from the energy in the universe. But we must be careful, because if another person comes along who offers this energy directly we can cut ourselves off from the true source. Most parents compete with their own children for energy, and that has an effect on all of us. Because this competition is taking place, none of us have resolved this opposite-sex issue. We are all stuck at the stage where we are looking for our opposite-sex energy outside of ourselves, in the person of a male or female we can think of as ideal and magical and can possess sexually. Using a female child as an example, all little girls know the first attempts to integrate her male side is through her father. She wants him around and close to her all the time. Looking for the male energy to compliment her female side she draws this from her father. From the male energy she receives a sense of completion and euphoria. But she mistakenly thinks that the only way to have this energy is by keeping her father close physically.
When a person puts on a costume to play a part in a play, they assume the persona of that character. The performance reflects their interpretation of the characters personality, body language, and thoughts. Just as when an athlete puts on the uniform prior to his stage entrance, he too assumes the role of the mighty warrior of sport. Identified only by the position he takes on the playing field, his identity is transformed from the single identity to the member of a team. The role becomes the safe haven from the reality of one’s own self. Behind the uniform, a warrior of sport can hide from his own reality. A new ego or self emerges, and assumes the role of leader. A grand or victorious performance will excuse all previous transgressions or signs of weakness. Crushing or humiliating your opponent earns the ego the right to greatness, and creditability amongst your peers or fellow countryman. Validation forgives all of life’s sins, and toughness in the face of illusionary adversity brings the stature of importance. But what of the illusion; the self has an answer which can be found if not on the battle field of sport, then in the
